Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, review, and maintain data collection tools and databases (ODK, REDCap, Epi Info, Excel, and other web- and mobile-based platforms).
- Develop and implement study protocols, SOPs, and Data Management Plans (DMPs), ensuring strict adherence and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee data collection, entry, cleaning, validation, secure storage, and discrepancy resolution to ensure accuracy, completeness, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Develop comprehensive Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and apply advanced statistical methods to analyze longitudinal, cohort, and multilevel datasets, grounded in sound statistical theory.
- Select, justify, and interpret appropriate analytical approaches to ensure scientific rigor and validity of findings.
- Ensure robust data governance and compliance with the Data Protection Act and institutional policies, including backups, security controls, and restricted access.
- Generate dashboards and analytical reports (Power BI, Tableau, Excel); contribute to CRF design, database creation/testing, and statistical documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Prepare and submit timely monitoring reports (daily to quarterly, DSMB, sponsor) and support abstract and manuscript preparation.
Vacancy Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Statistics with a Master’s degree in statistics/biostatistics, epidemiology, , or related field. Mandatory
- Proficiency in software package (e.g., SAS/STATA/R/SPSS) Mandatory
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience Mandatory
- Experience managing & analysis of large amount of data, especially repeat cross-sectional surveys or longitudinal data Mandatory
- Ability to prioritize, work under deadlines, work with minimal supervision and multitask Mandatory
- Knowledge of concepts of public health, epidemiology and surveillance Mandatory
