DELIVERY PERSON

Job Purpose

The Delivery Person will ensure that customers receive their food orders safely, accurately, professionally, and within the expected delivery time.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and verify customer orders before departure.
• Deliver food orders promptly and safely.
• Confirm delivery details and customer information.
• Handle food packages carefully to maintain quality and presentation.
• Collect payments where applicable and issue/return appropriate records.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
• Maintain delivery records.
• Report delays, incidents, or customer concerns to the supervisor.
• Ensure delivery equipment, motorcycle, bicycle, or vehicle is kept clean and in good condition where applicable.
• Follow road safety and company procedures.
• Represent Yardie Eatery professionally when interacting with customers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous delivery or courier experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of the local area and routes.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driving/riding licence where required for the delivery vehicle.
• Good knowledge of road safety.
• Professional and customer-friendly attitude.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: high school
