The Demand Planner will be responsible for ensuring stock adequacy in branches and maintaining minimum stock levels. This role involves ensuring timely servicing of customer stock-related requests and maintaining consistent weekly product rotation across all branches. The Demand Planner will also provide insights and market feedback to the procurement department to support sourcing decisions and monitor product performance. Additionally, they will follow up closely on new product development and monitor product performance, as well as the billing of assigned products for Key Accounts, providing timely reports.

The role requires the generation of various reports including:

• Top 80% Sellers Stock Inventory Status.
• Excess Inventory Report.
• Projection Vs. Production Achievement Report.
• Projection Vs Production Vs Sales Achievement Report.
• Sales Trend Report.
• Market Returns Report.
• Short Expiry Reports (6 Months to Expiry, 1-3 Months Expiries, New Shipment Short Expiry).
• Promotional Offers Update & Performance Reports.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Achieve 85% service levels.
• Short Expiry Value Kshs. 200,000 per month.
• 100% of budgeted sales targets.

• Conduct warehouse stock rebalancing to ensure stock adequacy in branches and maintain minimum stock levels.
• Ensure timely servicing of all customer stock-related requests.
• Maintain consistent weekly product rotation across all branches.
• Provide insights and market feedback to the procurement department to support sourcing decisions.

• Understanding of seasonality and peak demand times.
