About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie (Ala Carte) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of French cuisine and a proven track record in a similar role. You will be responsible for assisting the Chef de Partie in preparing and executing high-quality dishes for our ala carte menu.

Responsibilities

As a Demi Chef de Partie, your duties will include:

  • Assisting the Chef de Partie in the preparation and cooking of all menu items.
  • Ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standard of quality and presentation.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Managing inventory and stock rotation for your section.
  • Contributing to menu development and innovation.
  • Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in a reputable establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of French cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
