JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose

Provide leadership in irrigation research, data analysis, and dissemination of innovative practices.

Key Duties

Formulate and implement research strategy; Coordinate data collection and analysis; Oversee publication of research findings; Review research protocols; Promote innovation and mentorship.

Person Specifications

Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Civil/Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture, Soil Science, Lab Technology, Environmental Science; Relevant professional registration; Minimum 10 years' experience, served as Assistant Director in NIA Grade 4 for at least 3 years or comparable; Senior Management Course (minimum 4 weeks); Core Competencies: Problem-solving, analytical skills, creativity, etc.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 120

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
