Responsibilities
- Conduct Empathy Interviews: Train students to conduct deep ethnographic research to uncover customer needs and frustrations in a human-centered way.
- Define Problem Statements: Guide students in synthesizing research findings to articulate clear, user-centric problem definitions.
- Facilitate Ideation Sessions: Instruct on brainstorming techniques (e.g., mind mapping, SCAMPER) to generate a wide range of potential solutions.
- Prototype Concepts: Lead hands-on sessions where students build low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes using physical materials or digital tools.
- Conduct Usability Testing: Instruct students on how to design tests, recruit users, and gather feedback to refine and improve prototypes.
- Manage Innovation Pipelines: Guide students in integrating Design Thinking as a framework for solving complex, systemic problems beyond just product design.
