Development Programme, Internship - Technology at Standard Bank Group

(Focus: IT infrastructure, systems administration, technical support, and software deployment)

Systems Administration:

Assist in managing and maintaining servers, databases, and operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Technical Support:

Provide first-line technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues as they arise.

Software Deployment:

Support the installation, configuration, and testing of new software applications and system updates across the organization.

IT Infrastructure Monitoring:

Monitor network performance, server health, and security alerts, escalating critical issues to senior engineers.

Data Backup & Recovery:

Assist in implementing and testing data backup and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard organizational data.

Vendor Coordination:

Liaise with technology vendors and service providers for equipment repairs, software licensing, and procurement support.

Documentation:

Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and system manuals for internal reference and training purposes.
