Background

Kenwest Cables Ltd is a Kenyan manufacturer of electrical cables and conductors. Kenwest has been in operation since the 1974. It is involved in manufacturing of Quality PVC-insulated wiring cables, Flexible cords, Multi-core control cables, Power cables (both armoured and non-armoured) and Aluminium overhead conductors and cables.

Kenwest Cables Ltd is looking for a skilled entry level Digital Marketing Assistant to work with the Sales and Marketing Department to boost the company's online marketing presence and impact the sales target.

Digital Marketing Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the Sales staff-plans and executes web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, emails, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
• Designs, builds, and maintains company's social media presence.
• Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
• Brainstorms new and creative marketing strategies through digital marketing.
• Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
• Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.
• Collaborates with marketing managers within the group.
• Evaluates emerging technologies and implements suitable trends

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
• 1-2 years proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
• Demonstrable experience working and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
• Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• Working knowledge of ad serving tools
