JOB DETAILS:

DIRECTOR, IRRIGATION DEVELOPMENT (DID) - GRADE NIA 2

• Job Purpose: Provide Strategic Leadership in the identification, feasibility assessment, Design and Construction of irrigation and water storage Infrastructure.
• Key Duties: Provide strategic technical input; Oversee technical specifications and bid evaluation; Facilitate pre-feasibility and feasibility studies; Lead review and approval of design reports and tender documents; Promote renewable energy solutions; Supervise construction works; Lead development and enforcement of irrigation standards; Coordinate stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
• Person Specifications: Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Civil / Agricultural / Water Engineering, Project Planning & Management; Registered Professional Engineer with EBK and valid Practising License; Full Member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).

Level of Education: bachelor degree
