Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Bachelor's degree in human resource/ Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Public/Business Administration, or other related qualifications from a recognized institution;
• Master's degree in human resource/ Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Public/Business Administration, or other related fields;
• Must have served in the grade of Deputy Director Human Resource management and Development for at least 3 years;
• Professional Certification in Leadership and Management
• Training and thorough knowledge in Job Evaluation Schemes
• Should be a Certified Member of the Human Resource Management Professionals (CHRP-K);
• Should be a Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).

Experience needed

At least 10 years professional experience in a relevant field, 5 years of which should be in a senior leadership position with demonstrated success in managing multi- disciplinary teams;

Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)

Knowledge of the institutional and legal framework in Kenya, as well as of relevant Public Service transformation programmes;

Work Hours: 8
