Background information about the job or company

AAR Healthcare is currently one of the largest providers of outpatient healthcare services in East Africa, with a network of 21 clinics across the country and serving over 300,000 clients annually from across the social divide. At AAR Healthcare, we employ experienced medical and management staff, and use internationally approved disease management protocols and drug formulary supported by the state of the art information technology systems to provide consistent treatment for our clients from anywhere in East Africa.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

To provide high-quality clinical services in a cost-effective and patient-centred manner.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Examine, diagnose, and manage patients in line with the Standard Treatment Guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with established SOPs and clinical protocols.
  • Conduct health promotion activities, including patient education and health talks.
  • Engage patients and provide appropriate medical support and guidance.

Qualifications or requirements

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
  • Must be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Pleasant and professional demeanour.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Experience needed

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a practising medical doctor.
  • Examine, diagnose, and manage patients in line with the Standard Treatment Guidelines.
