Responsibilities

The Drilling Fluids and Cementing Officer will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and managing all aspects of drilling fluids and cementing operations.
  • Ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Monitoring and analyzing drilling fluid properties and cement slurry performance.
  • Troubleshooting any issues that may arise during operations.
  • Preparing reports on drilling fluids and cementing operations.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure the successful completion of drilling projects.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling fluids and cementing operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of drilling fluid systems and cement slurry design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling fluids and cementing operations.

This is a full-time position based in Kenya. Competitive salary and benefits package offered.
