- Investigate and diagnose hardware and firmware faults, documenting findings clearly for internal teams.
- Perform QA testing of software used on manufacturing test stations.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and inspection checklists for hardware and firmware releases.
- Support field inspection activities, including occasional on-site hardware checks and performance data collection.
You might be a strong candidate if you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience working with embedded systems, electronic hardware, or firmware testing.
- Experience reading printed circuit board (PCB) schematics and layouts.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
Nice to Have
- Experience with IoT products or connected device ecosystems.
- Experience with soldering, hardware rework, or PCB-level diagnostics.
- Familiarity with QA management tools or defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
