BPK is a Tea growing and manufacturing business based in Kericho and Bomet counties. It’s operations is mainly the estates plantations and Tea Factories, supported by Forestry operations and Engineering departments.

The Job
Electrical Motor Rewinder - 2 Vacancies
The position will be based at the Electrical workshop Engineering reporting to the Assistant Electrical Foreman Factories. The successful candidate will be responsible for rewinding, repairing, and maintaining of electrical motors and other related equipment including generators, welding machines and power hand tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rewinding and repairing of motors up to 75 HP.
- Overhauling and maintaining generators, welding machines and power hand tools.
- Carrying out general electrical workshop repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Testing insulation resistance, continuity, and performance of rewound motors.
- Maintaining workshop tools and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Assisting in other electrical maintenance tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate in Electrical Installation, Electrical Craft or Grade Test or it’s equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in motor rewinding and electrical maintenance workshop activities.
- Good understanding of motors, generators and welding machines testing procedures and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver quality workmanship.
Personal Attributes:
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable, disciplined and results oriented.
- Team player with good communication and organizational skills.
