Instruction and curriculum: Develop and deliver engaging lessons on electrical theory and practical skills; conduct hands-on lab sessions; stay updated on new industry developments and integrate them into the curriculum. Student assessment and support: Assess student performance through assignments and exams; provide constructive feedback and academic advising; mentor students in their learning and career paths. Safety and compliance: Ensure all safety procedures are taught and followed; maintain a safe learning environment and equipment. Administration: Manage classroom and laboratory resources; maintain accurate records of student progress; meet professional and administrative responsibilities. Collaboration and outreach: Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and program development; work with parents and school administrators; potentially assist with student recruitment and job placement.

Technical skills: Deep understanding of electrical theory, principles, codes, and practices; ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues; familiarity with various electrical systems, tools, and equipment. Instructional skills: Ability to create lesson plans and develop curriculum. Proficiency in using educational technology and e-learning platforms. Classroom management: Ability to maintain discipline, manage a classroom and laboratory setting, and create a safe learning environment. Communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to clearly explain complex concepts; strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents. Organizational skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, including record-keeping and assessment. Problem-solving skills: Ability to assist students with practical problems and diagnose equipment issues.
