Job Summary
The Energy Network Electrician will support the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical and energy infrastructure within the company's network.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical and energy network equipment.
- Conduct routine checks on electrical installations and charging/energy infrastructure.
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.
- Ensure electrical installations comply with applicable safety and technical standards.
- Safely use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
- Respond to electrical faults and emergencies within the network.
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams to resolve network issues.
- Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and properly secured.
- Escalate major technical faults to the relevant supervisor or engineering team.
Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Relevant electrical installation and maintenance experience.
- Practical knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, testing, and fault diagnosis.
- Appropriate electrical licensing/certification where required.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures.
- Ability to work in the field and respond to technical faults.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
