Responsibilities or duties
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in the Kenyan market.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and assess market trends.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to prospective customers.
- Responsible for Technical Sales for Kirloskar & SPP Pumps, Kirloskar Air Compressors, and Kirloskar Chillers.
- Responsible for Order Booking and payment collection, and complete Presales, Order acquisition, Order execution Payment collection.
- Demonstrate how products meet client needs and offer tailored solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle client inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
Technical Expertise:
- Offer technical support to clients regarding Kirloskar & SPP Pumps, Kirloskar Air Compressors, and Kirloskar Chillers.
- Stay updated with the latest product developments and industry trends.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market analysis.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the development of sales plans
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the sales team, engineers, and other departments to coordinate efforts, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Must have good local market knowledge and should have good industry connect in Kenya.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Must Have Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong technical knowledge of the products and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience needed
- 7-10 years of sales experience in Pumps, Air Compressors and Chillers.
