JOB DETAILS:
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy and Energy Systems Engineering.
- Master's Degree in sustainable energy, solar technology or a related field.
- Understanding of solar energy systems including Photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, mounting systems (roof & ground).
- Proficient in solar design software: PVsyst, Helioscope, SAM, AutoCAD or SketchUp.
- Knowledge of electrical system design and load calculations.
- Familiar with grid-tied and off-grid systems simulation and performance analysis of solar systems.
- NABCEP Certification (North America) - highly regarded.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of PV systems.
- Internship or prior job experience in solar or electrical engineering.
Additional Job Description (Expanded):
- Conduct site assessments for solar PV system installations, including shading analysis and energy consumption evaluations.
- Design and optimize solar energy systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
- Prepare technical proposals, system schematics, and project documentation.
- Oversee installation processes and ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Perform system performance monitoring and provide post-installation support.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop customized solar solutions for clients.
- Stay updated with emerging solar technologies and industry best practices.
