Responsibilities or duties

Duties and responsibilities at this level entail: -

  • Implementing and review policies, strategies procedures and guidelines on valuation & agency.
  • Undertaking marketing, letting and sell new and old Estates (both residential and commercial).
  • Undertaking on-boarding of tenants and purchasers as per the procedure
  • Providing secretarial services to the House Sale and Letting Committee.
  • Carrying out property market survey/studies and/or supervise valuation exercises.
  • Carrying out periodic rental assessments/surveys, open market valuations to determine the Corporation’s land and housing units;
  • Reviewing rental yield annually.
  • Maintaining valuation, documentation, reports and journals;

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Person Specification:

For appointment to this grade, a person must have: -

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Land economics, Real Estate Management, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;

  • Leadership and managerial skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Communication and reporting skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ethical skills
  • Team Management
