About Tech Safari
Tech Safari turns attention into action. We capture Africa's innovation story, connect the people behind it, and create products and services that help businesses win. We run events, design programs, and share stories that strengthen Africa's innovation and talent ecosystem.
We're looking for a smart, proactive generalist to join our small, ambitious team. Someone excited to sit at the intersection of launching and running campaigns, managing events, and building partnerships
Role Overview
This is a dynamic role designed to support Senior leadership in supporting growth initiatives, campaigns, events, and partnerships.
The Events & Partnerships Lead will work closely with the CEO and Chief of Staff to ensure Tech Safari runs smoothly and shows up strongly - in events, through campaigns, with partners, and across the ecosystem.
You'll turn ideas into action, working with our media, events, and operations teams to coordinate campaigns, support sales, and oversee the delivery of events from concept to completion. You will find new ways to leverage our community, partnerships, and platforms to drive scale and achieve growth goals.
This role directly supports the CEO's focus on growth, partnerships, and fundraising by ensuring everything else runs like clockwork.
An exciting opportunity to gain exposure across partnerships, events, and sales, and play a key role in shaping how Tech Safari scales over the next few years.
What You Bring
3-4 years' + experience in project management, media campaigns, and events.
Exceptional organisational skills with an ability to juggle multiple priorities while managing up, down, and across stakeholders with ease.
Strong writing skills - able to turn a rough brief into a polished on-brand deliverable, with a keen eye to the details.
Proficiency in Notion, Google Workspace, and with AI tools.
A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset - you see what needs to get done and make it happen.
Thrives in fast-moving, start-up environments. Previous experience in a startup/consulting environment is a plus!
Understanding of or curiosity about Africa's innovation, talent, and startup ecosystem.
