Background

Nivishe Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving mental health awareness and access to care. We are committed to developing resources and initiatives that support mental well-being in communities.

Role Context

We are seeking to form a Mental Health Lexicon Technical Working Group. This group will play a crucial role in developing a comprehensive lexicon of mental health terms, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and cultural relevance. The group will be instrumental in standardizing terminology used in mental health services and research.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Technical Working Group members will include:

  • Contributing to the development and refinement of mental health terminology.
  • Reviewing and validating proposed definitions and concepts.
  • Ensuring the lexicon is accessible and understandable to diverse audiences.
  • Participating in group discussions and providing expert input.
  • Collaborating with other members to achieve project goals.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for individuals with expertise in mental health, psychology, psychiatry, social work, public health, or related fields. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of mental health concepts and terminology. Experience in developing terminologies, glossaries, or lexicons is highly desirable. A commitment to improving mental health outcomes is essential.
