Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance & Operations Officer to oversee financial management and daily operations while driving business growth. This role ensures operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic planning across both Nairobi and Athi River offices.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, donor policies, and internal controls.
- Support audits and maintain the asset register.
Operational Management
- Oversee office operations, procurement, logistics, and vendor management.
- Implement and improve administrative systems and procedures.
- Coordinate staff support, travel, and office resources.
Business Development & Client Relations
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain client relationships.
- Monitor performance metrics and support revenue growth initiatives.
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead finance and operations teams; supervise and guide staff.
- Contribute to company-wide strategic planning and decision-making.
- Act as a key member of the senior management team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- CPA, ACCA, or CPS certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Must be a born-again Christian.
- Proficiency in ERP/QuickBooks/SAP/Oracle and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
