A forklift operator's job involves safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, stock, and retrieve goods within a warehouse, distribution center, or other work environment.

Operating Machinery: Safely operating various types of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other power equipment to move materials like boxes, bales, and pallets. Loading & Unloading: Loading and unloading goods from trailers and trucks, ensuring accuracy and proper storage. Inventory Management: Monitoring, counting, and recording inventory, as well as performing cycle counts to maintain accuracy. Stocking & Retrieval: Placing and storing materials in the warehouse, stocking shelves, and picking items from storage to fulfill orders. Equipment Maintenance: Performing daily pre-operation checks, cleaning, and performing minor maintenance and repairs on equipment. Safety & Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and complying with OSHA standards. Record Keeping: Completing daily inspection forms, inventory records, and other necessary paperwork. Workplace Organization: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• At least 2 years of forklift experience in a busy environment • Strong safety record • Excellent communication skills

Valid forklift operator license class G
