ROLE SUMMARY
To provide strategic and operational leadership of the Hospital's Facilities Management function by ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective management of buildings, utilities, biomedical support coordination, security, housekeeping, waste management, landscaping, transport, maintenance services and contracted service providers. The role is responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant and patient-centred environment while supporting uninterrupted clinical operations, regulatory compliance and asset preservation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Building & Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Estate Management or another related field from a recognized institution.
- Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Facilities Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline will be an added advantage (Preferred).
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in facilities, operations, hospitality, or support services management.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working in a healthcare facility or similarly complex institution is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance, waste management, housekeeping, laundry, or food service operations.
