Farm Hand

Responsibilities

• Feed poultry according to schedules.
• Provide clean drinking water.
• Clean poultry houses and equipment.
• Collect and dispose of poultry waste.
• Monitor bird health and report abnormalities.
• Support vaccination and medication programs.
• Maintain farm cleanliness and hygiene.
• Observe biosecurity procedures at all times.
• Assist in receiving and transferring birds.
• Monitor feed and water consumption.
• Record daily farm activities.
• Handle birds humanely during operations.
• Report equipment faults promptly.
• Support inventory of farm supplies.
• Assist during farm maintenance activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Skills & Requirements

• KCSE Certificate Minimum.
• Certificate Agriculture Advantage.
• Poultry Farm Experience Preferred.
