About the FAST Product:
The Finance Accelerating Savings for Transformation (FAST) product is specifically designed to address the financial requirements of Savings for Transformation (S4T) groups in Kenya. Its primary objective is to ensure these groups have sufficient loan capital to engage in mutual lending, thereby fostering exponential growth within their communities.

Reporting Lines:

• Direct Report: Relationship Manager
• Strategic Report: FAST Product Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Project Implementation & Team Leadership:

• Implement the FAST project and mentor Field Officers (FOs) to achieve the organization's mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
• Build the capacity of Field Officers, ensuring program fidelity and that they possess the requisite skills to perform their functions effectively.
• Maintain Field Officers' productivity through consistent support, mentorship, and ensuring efficient turnaround time (TAT) for customer queries.
• Identify Field Officers' training needs and ensure they maintain high morale.

Portfolio Quality & Customer Service:

• Conduct group verification tests to ensure set targets are met in key parameters: high-standard customer service, customer retention, measurable service impact, and a quality loan portfolio.
• Implement customer-centric approaches through the field officers.
• Ensure adherence to FAST project policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Stakeholder Engagement & Training:

• Work collaboratively with World Vision Kenya, SAT Agents, community stakeholders, AP Managers, and local authorities for the success of the project.
• Effectively train S4T groups and the wider community to understand the FAST product.
• Plan and initiate promotional measures within the target location.

Performance Management:

• Undertake regular performance assessments for Field Officers.
• Submit Field Officers' performance reports to the Relationship Manager and the FAST Product Manager.
• Communicate organizational changes and strategic directives to the field team.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within microfinance or community-based finance.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and capacity-building skills.
• Excellent training and communication abilities.
• A results-oriented mindset with a focus on portfolio quality and customer retention.
• The ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative spirit.
