Field & Research Assistant

Location: Nanyuki and Field Sites

Start Date: May 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in nursery operations (planting, monitoring, maintenance) and record-keeping
• Support field data collection on tree growth, survival, and project impact
• Contribute to research, reporting, and value chain analysis
• Assist in administrative systems, data entry, and internal coordination
• Participate in fieldwork, stakeholder engagement, and M&E activities
• Support grant research, documentation, and communications

Education & Experience

• Current student or recent graduate in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Forestry, Natural Resource Management, Agribusiness, or related field
• Basic knowledge of data collection and Microsoft Office
• Strong interest in sustainability, restoration, and ASAL development
