Role Context

As a Field Specialist - Wireline, you will be able to learn and develop your knowledge and gain valuable technical insight. You will be guided by an experienced team who will mentor you to understand wellsite problems and how to develop resolutions. You'll be able to gain hands-on experience with some incredible technology.

Responsibilities or duties

• Assisting onsite at workshop and off-site at wellsite to facilitate wireline logging and completion services
• Learning how to execute basic maintenance of equipment to assist in preparing the wireline equipment
• Leading cross-functional teams at the wellsite to find answers to problems and issues
• Following industry practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data to understand problems and find solutions
• Following internal Health, Safety and Environment policies to ensure safety and compliance

Qualifications or requirements

• Have a technical certificate in a related subject or have good, relevant industry experience
• Show a high knowledge and understanding of the Oil and Gas industry
• Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn
• Be a good team player and display good communication skills

Experience needed

• Have at least 5 years experience in wireline operations

Additional notes

Be willing to gain industry experience and product line training and attend Wireline Training School.

This role is working with our customer on-site in locations across the world. When onsite, you will have the flexibility to work in line with customer working patterns. When projects are complete, we offer you the opportunity to take extended leave before you take on your next project.
