Tensenses Africa (EPZ) LTD seeks to employ a Finance Manager within the Finance Department to work hand in hand with and support the department to meet the company's short-term goals, long-term goals, and targets.

• Provide support to operations group through information analysis (e.g., current processes, actual performance vs budget and prior year, budget etc.)
• Prepare operational data for publication to various constituents throughout the company (management, sales, product management etc.) who rely on/benefit from the information to make informed business decisions.
• Assist operations team in monthly operations review, identification of areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and periodic analysis of operations performance.
• Prepare monthly analysis of cost of goods sold and operational expenses against prior year and budget, providing explanations and business solutions to help mitigate risks.
• Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
• Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvement, as appropriate, based on findings and make proposals for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes etc.)
• Monitor the status of external loans and accounts to ensure payments are up to date and advise management.
• Review general ledgers and monthly base to ensure compliance with payments and make sure statutory returns are up to date.
• Make recommendations to improve accounting standards and procedures of the company.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Bcom/BS Administration (Finance) with CPA(K)
• Above ten (10) years and above years of proven experience with 5 being in a similar position
• Knowledge of principles and standards of accounting
