About the Role

Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, accounting, and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies and policies.
  • Managing the annual budgeting process and monitoring budget performance.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Managing financial risk and implementing internal controls.
  • Leading and developing the finance team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Experience

At least 6 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the non-profit sector.
