Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a French-speaking Instruments Service Technician based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with opportunities for partial remote work. The technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting instruments and equipment used in process solutions. Primary responsibilities include performing on-site field service, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring operational efficiency of systems. Collaboration with clients and colleagues to identify and resolve technical challenges will be a key responsibility.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair for industrial instruments and equipment.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Experience in performing Field Service activities, including on-site evaluations and repairs.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional Customer Service and maintain client satisfaction.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French, in addition to English.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Relevant technical certifications or a diploma in Engineering or a related field are a plus.
• Knowledge of the Food & Beverage, Water, and Energy sectors is beneficial.
