Job Summary

The General Manager provides strategic leadership and overall management of the organization's operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, financial sustainability, operational excellence, and achievement of organizational goals. The role oversees all functional departments, drives business growth, and promotes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement organizational strategies, policies, and operational plans.
• Lead the achievement of business objectives and performance targets.
• Identify growth opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Operational Management

• Oversee all departmental operations, including finance, hospitality, human resources, ICT, supply chain, maintenance, security, and sales.
• Monitor operational efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.

Financial Management

• Approve budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Ensure effective resource allocation and cost control.
• Review financial and operational reports to support strategic decision-making.

People Leadership

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for senior managers.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, innovation, and customer service excellence.
• Support talent development and succession planning.

Stakeholder Relations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, partners, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Represent the organization in meetings, negotiations, and public engagements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, Management, or a related field.
• A Master's Degree (MBA or related qualification) is an added advantage.

Experience

• Relevant progressive management experience, including senior leadership responsibilities.
