Summary

Lecturer – General Surgery at Kenyatta University (KU). Teaches medical students, supervises surgical research, provides consultant clinical care at teaching hospitals, and contributes to curriculum development.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master’s Degree or its equivalent with specialization in Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Plastic Surgery or Paediatrics from an accredited and recognized University.
• At least three (3) years of university teaching or Research/ Industry experience.
• Registration by the KMPDC and a valid practicing license.
• PhD. will be an added advantage.
• Non PhD. Applicants must be prepared to pursue a PhD. in the specified areas of Specialization

Terms of Service

A competitive remuneration package, which includes basic salary, house allowance, and medical cover as per the University Scheme, will be provided.

Tutorial Fellows are employed on a one (1) year renewable contract up to a maximum of three (3) years.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
