<div itemprop='description' style='display:none'><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Role purpose</strong></span><br /><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Global Internal Communications Officer is responsible for supporting the Global Internal Communications Unit to deliver Save the Children International’s internal communications plan and help engage our 25,000 staff across 110 countries around the world. The role will be responsible for creating and delivering internal communications content and stories, as well as manage our internal communications channels, e.g. our weekly global newsletter. </span><br /><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Global Internal Communications Officer will also support and utilise tools to ensure our internal communications and events are interactive and engaging in our remote-first working environment. The post holder works collaboratively with communications, strategy and HR teams, as well the wider CEO’s office team where this unit sits.</span><br /><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This role will be based in a small Global Internal Communications unit, which forms part of our wider CEO Office. This unit is responsible for developing and delivering simple, informative and inspiring communications that will make our staff feel valued, motivated and proud to work as part of our global movement. It is also responsible for supporting senior leadership (including the CEO) to engage, inspire and build trust among staff and key stakeholders across the Save the Children movement.</span></p>

The role will be responsible for creating and delivering internal communications content and stories, as well as manage our internal communications channels, e.g. our weekly global newsletter. </span><br /><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Global Internal Communications Officer will also support and utilise tools to ensure our internal communications and events are interactive and engaging in our remote-first working environment. The post holder works collaboratively with communications, strategy and HR teams, as well the wider CEO’s office team where this unit sits.</span><br /><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This role will be based in a small Global Internal Communications unit, which forms part of our wider CEO Office. This unit is responsible for developing and delivering simple, informative and inspiring communications that will make our staff feel valued, motivated and proud to work as part of our global movement. It is also responsible for supporting senior leadership (including the CEO) to engage, inspire and build trust among staff and key stakeholders across the Save the Children movement.</span></p>
