The Graphic Designer will create visually engaging designs that communicate messages through digital and print media. This role involves collaborating with marketing, branding, and product teams to produce high-quality, creative, and effective designs. The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing graphics, layouts, and branding materials to support the company's objectives and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

Graphic Design Creation:

  • Design and produce high-quality graphics for a variety of platforms, including websites, social media, email marketing, advertisements, brochures, posters, packaging, and print media.
  • Develop creative concepts and execute designs that align with brand identity, guidelines, and marketing goals.
  • Create visual assets that engage customers and deliver impactful messaging.

Branding and Visual Identity:

  • Maintain and evolve the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all media and communications.
  • Design logos, branding materials, and other assets that represent the brand’s values and objectives.
  • Support rebranding initiatives and design strategy to refresh brand visuals.

Collaborative Work:

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to create design solutions that meet project goals.
  • Work with copywriters and content creators to ensure that visuals complement written content and enhance user engagement.
  • Communicate design concepts and collaborate with team members to iterate on feedback.

Creative Direction:

  • Assist in brainstorming sessions for new design concepts, campaigns, and creative strategies.
  • Suggest and implement new design techniques, styles, or trends to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Contribute to mood boards and visual references for design projects.

Digital Media

  • Create engaging social media visuals, ads, and other online content to support digital marketing efforts.

Print and Production:

  • Prepare designs for production, ensuring files are optimized for print or web use (e.g., resolution, color, and format).
  • Work with external vendors to coordinate production, including printers and promotional material manufacturers.
  • Review proofs and oversee the production process to ensure design integrity.

Quality Control:

  • Review design work for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Ensure that designs meet project deadlines and client or internal requirements.
  • Maintain organized archives of design files, assets, and brand materials.

Project Completion Time

  • Measures how quickly graphic design projects are completed from start to finish.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining design quality.

Design Quality

  • Evaluates the overall quality of the design work based on creativity, innovation, attention to detail, and alignment with project objectives.
  • Deliver high-quality designs that align with brand standards and meet client or internal expectations.
  • Often assessed through peer reviews, client feedback, or design audits.

Client/Stakeholder Satisfaction

  • Measures client or internal stakeholder satisfaction with the final design, including meeting their expectations, design needs, and any revisions required.
  • Achieve high satisfaction levels and positive feedback.
  • Surveys, feedback forms, or direct communication with clients or stakeholders.

Number of Revisions

  • Tracks the number of revisions required on a design before it is finalized. Fewer revisions often indicate strong initial design alignment with client needs.
  • Minimize the number of revisions to increase efficiency while ensuring client satisfaction.

Adherence to Brand Guidelines

  • Measures how well the designer follows the company’s or client’s brand guidelines in each project.
  • Ensure consistency in branding across all design deliverables.

Design Approval Rate

  • Measures the percentage of designs that are approved on the first submission without requiring major changes.
  • Increase the percentage of designs approved without significant revisions, indicating a strong understanding of project requirements.

Creativity and Innovation

  • Assess the level of creativity and innovation shown in design work, such as unique solutions or the incorporation of new design trends.
  • Deliver fresh, innovative, and on-trend designs that stand out and resonate with the audience.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar creative role (at least [X] years of experience).
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design styles and projects.
  • Knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creative excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of web design principles, UI/UX design, and digital media is a plus.
