Responsibilities or duties
Onboarding & Offboarding: Lead full onboarding process (pre‑arrival communication, orientation, documentation, system setup). Provide onboarding kits, facilitate introductions, and ensure compliance with Kenya labor law. Manage structured exit processes including terminal dues and clearance.
Administration & Benefits: Manage employee benefits (medical insurance, group life, GPA, pension, wellness programs). Liaise with providers for claims, renewals, and policy updates. Track utilization and costs for budgeting.
Leave Management: Oversee leave tracking, reconciliation, reporting, and system updates. Align leave balances with payroll and provide staff guidance on entitlements.
HRIS & Records: Maintain HRIS data accuracy (Workday/Cornerstone). Manage staff contracts, personnel files, and HR records. Prepare HR reports and presentations.
Other Duties: Conduct exit interviews, support recruitment processes, and ensure compliance with IRC professional standards.

- Knowledge of HR concepts, employment laws, and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, Cornerstone) desirable.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
