Responsibilities or duties

The HR Officer will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including but not limited to:

  • Managing recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Administering employee benefits and compensation.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Handling employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Maintaining employee records and HR databases.
  • Supporting performance management and training initiatives.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP) is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience needed

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within the construction industry.
