Responsibilities or duties
The HR Officer will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including but not limited to:
- Managing recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Administering employee benefits and compensation.
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Handling employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Maintaining employee records and HR databases.
- Supporting performance management and training initiatives.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP) is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience needed
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within the construction industry.
