Job Description
To lead the strategic direction and operational delivery of the Stanbic Bank Kenya Foundation, championing transformational philanthropic initiatives that create lasting impact within communities. This role is central to engaging and empowering communities through inclusive programmes, partnerships, and advocacy. It involves overseeing programme development, resource mobilization, and strategic alignment to ensure coherence and effectiveness. As the Foundation’s external ambassador, the role fosters meaningful relationships and amplifies the Foundation’s voice to drive positive social change.
Through strategic collaboration and advocacy, the role ensures that the Foundation remains a trusted and impactful force for positive change.
Qualifications
- Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
- Field of Study: Social Sciences
Experience Required
CSI Development
3 - 4 years
- Strong knowledge in managing project budgets, managing funding from a diversity of sources including governments and aid agencies, private sector donors.
- Proven experience of working with government and research institutes.
- Basic knowledge of finance and accounting systems
5 – 7 years
- Experience in working in NGO’s, charitable foundation or small or medium business.
- Sound and up to date knowledge of development concepts, methodologies and
- techniques including demonstrated understanding of development issues.
- Sound knowledge in the political, social and economic and historic environment.
- Understanding the project cycle management
- Excellent understanding of development partnerships, donor strategies, governmental and international relations.
