Responsibilities or duties

Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to boost the hotel’s visibility and increase bookings.

Manage marketing campaigns across various platforms such as social media, email, and print.

Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor offerings.

Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.

Prepare and manage the marketing budget.

Build and maintain relationships with media and stakeholders.

Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics.

Plan and implement promotional events and campaigns.

Prepare and present regular reports on marketing performance

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; a Master’s Degree in a relevant area will be an added advantage

Knowledge of Opera and Oracle Hospitality Suite 8

Professional certifications in marketing

Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a marketing team; strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across departments.

Skill in developing long-term marketing strategies aligned with business goals; ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling marketing messages and presentations.

Schedule and post brand content on social media platforms, e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn, on a daily and monthly basis.

Update website information, Online booking platforms like Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, etc.

A creative mindset to develop unique marketing campaigns and promotional activities; willingness to innovate and experiment with new ideas.

Proficiency in analyzing data to measure campaign effectiveness; ability to interpret metrics and generate actionable insights.

Knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, SEM). Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems (CMS). Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe software will be an advantage

Understanding of customer needs and behaviors in the hospitality industry; ability to create marketing strategies that enhance guest experiences.

Skill in preparing and managing marketing budgets; ability to allocate resources effectively and monitor expenditures

Experience needed

Extensive experience in marketing management, ideally within the hospitality industry. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing marketing strategies. Proven track record in team leadership and project management.

The terms of service include a basic salary and a house allowance.
