Stepping Stones Preparatory School in Thika, is pleased to invite applications for the position of a Head Teacher. This is a leadership opportunity for a dedicated, visionary, and highly organized educator who is passionate about driving academic excellence, nurturing staff development, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the Campus.
  • Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure high academic standards across all grades.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and support teaching staff through coaching, observation, and professional development.
  • Promote positive student behavior and uphold school values and culture.
  • Engage parents, guardians, and the wider school community to support student success.
  • Monitor and evaluate school performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a primary and Junior School set up.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage school operations, and drive academic results.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to the school's vision, mission, and core values.
