Instructional Expertise: Evidence of effective teaching and learning strategies aligned with the 8-4-4 system, particularly in preparing students for national examinations KCPE and actual evidence performance rank nationwide.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Age: 35 – 50 years.

Education: A Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum Studies, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Certification: Must hold a valid registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and be in good standing.

Experience needed

Experience: At least 10 years of teaching experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, either as a Deputy Headteacher or Headteacher, with a proven ability to mentor staff, lead teams, and raise performance standards.

School Level Experience: Must have experience teaching and managing at the primary school level, ensuring familiarity with both upper and junior school transitions and expectations.

Academic Performance Record: Proven academic performance record in KCPE (370 marks and above), KPSEA, or KJSEA (7.0 and above), at both County and National level.

Documented Impact: Documented evidence of impact on staff development and learner achievement, such as improved exam results, successful curriculum implementation, or enhanced teaching quality.
