Role Overview

The Head of Investment is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing CrossBoundary’s investment strategy, execution, and portfolio management across key sectors. This role will lead the investment team, drive deal origination, and ensure the successful deployment of capital in alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives.

The position requires extensive experience in investment management, leadership, and stakeholder engagement within emerging markets.

Strategic Importance

This role is central to CrossBoundary’s growth and market positioning. The Head of Investment will shape the firm’s investment direction, influence capital allocation decisions, and ensure that projects deliver both financial returns and measurable impact.

• Defining and executing the firm’s investment strategy across target sectors and geographies
• Leading deal origination efforts, including building relationships with developers, sponsors, and institutional partners
• Overseeing the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and due diligence to execution and exit
• Managing and mentoring a team of investment professionals, including Associates and Senior Associates
• Reviewing and approving financial models, investment memos, and transaction structures
• Engaging with investors, including development finance institutions, private equity funds, and impact investors
• Leading capital raising initiatives and supporting investor relations activities
• Ensuring compliance with internal investment policies and external regulatory requirements
• Monitoring portfolio performance and implementing value creation strategies
• Representing CrossBoundary in high-level meetings, conferences, and industry forums
• Driving innovation in investment approaches, particularly in sustainable and impact-focused sectors
• Collaborating with other business units to align investment activities with broader organizational goals
