JOB DETAILS:
Head of Logistics & Warehousing

WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for a Head of Logistics & to join our team. You will be responsible for providing an efficient, effective, and accountable logistics support system which shall include fleet and warehouse management in line with MOKO’s policies and procedures

THE ROLE IN BRIEF
Logistics and fleet management:
• Identify and manage third party logistics providers to get the most efficient inbound and outbound logistics
• Ensure that all transactions relating to contracted service are carried out in a timely manner while ensuring value-for-money and with a high level of integrity
• Ensure that systems are in place for price discovery so that most cost-effective solution is available at all times
• Work with internal departments and vendors to closely monitor shipment from start to finish to the satisfaction of internal departments
• Manage own fleet, consumables, and spare parts so that expenses incurred are within budget
• Work with software providers to implement state of the art tracking and fuel management systems for own fleet
• Analyze daily data to generate reports on KPIs and report to the VP of operations
• Ensure lessons and feedback are documented and acted upon
• Study global best practices and implement them in logistics management
• Ensuring exceptional customer experience in outbound deliveries
• Managing the logistics profit and loss accounts and ensuring that operational ratios are within targets.
• Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Asset & Inventory Management:
• Ensure that warehouses and stock are handled and managed in accordance with MOKO’s policies and procedures
• Ensure that procured stocks are received, documented, and dispatched in an efficient and accountable manner
• Conduct random physical stock count and investigate discrepancies if any
• Responsible for accurate assets registration, tracking, tagging, and archiving of asset lists
• Conduct a quarterly physical asset verification to ensure that all asset inventory is tagged, recorded, and reported to management
• Oversee repair and maintenance of office and other assets and equipment as and when need arises
Regulatory and Compliance:
• Thorough knowledge of all regulatory and compliance issues concerning internal logistics and cross border transport
• Compliance to all statutory requirements of fleet vehicles and ensuring timely action to remain compliant
• Ability to manage cross border documentation in the most efficient and effective manner
• Interacting with government and internal departments so that all duties and taxes are paid in time.
• Ensure that all documents concerning transport, whether it is using own fleet, or contracted services is maintained and is delivered in timely fashion to the concerned document keepers.

• Good understanding and grasp of logistics related rules and regulations
• Proven ability managing large-scale logistics operations

• Ability to work under pressure
• Self-driven and highly proactive with excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Degree in Business Management or Supply Chain or Logistics

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education:
Bachelor Degree
