JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: Head of Security
Location: Kiambu County
Our client is seeking to recruit a Head of Security to oversee security operations across their large-scale, 24/7 FMCG manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution facilities. This role calls for a seasoned security professional with proven experience in managing industrial and multi-site security operations.
Role Overview
The Head of Security will be responsible for developing and executing our client end-to-end security strategy, ensuring the safety of employees, protection of high-value assets, loss prevention, and business continuity across all sites.
Requirements
Key Experience & Profile Required
- Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in security operations
- At least 5 years in a senior security leadership role
- Strong background in:
- Manufacturing / FMCG / large warehousing environments
- Multi-site security operations
- Managing both in-house and outsourced security teams
- Proven experience in:
- Risk assessments and security audits
- Loss prevention and investigations
- Crisis and incident management
- Exposure to security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
- High integrity with a clean disciplinary and criminal record
- Prior military or police background is an added advantage but not mandatory
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field
- Professional security certifications (CPP, PSP, or equivalent) will be an added advantage
