HEAD OF SUPPLY CHAIN

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations and drive excellence across procurement, imports, warehousing, inventory management, distribution, and logistics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the end-to-end flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
• Import planning and coordination with overseas suppliers.
• Drive inventory management and stock optimization.
• Oversee warehouse operations, controls, and compliance.
• Manage transport, distribution, and logistics operations.
• Lead demand forecasting and replenishment planning.
• Implement cost-control measures and supply chain efficiency initiatives.
• Manage ERP/Sage inventory systems, reporting, and performance monitoring.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in any of the following:
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Procurement & Logistics
  • Business Administration
  • Operations Management
  • Commerce
• PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
• CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Level 4-6
• KISM (Kenya Institute of Supplies Management) Certification
• APICS/ASCM Supply Chain Certifications (advantage)
• Project Management Certification (advantage)

EXPERIENCE

• 5-8 years' experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management.
• At least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Proven experience managing imports from overseas suppliers.
• Experience dealing with:
  • Freight forwarders
  • Shipping lines
  • Customs clearing agents
  • Inventory planning & Optimization
  • Warehouse operations
• Strong ERP experience (Sage or other ERP systems).
