Huruma Maternity and Nursing Home is a medical institution duly licensed by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board to operate as a level 4 hospital. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily administrative operations within the hospital
  • Supervise non-clinical staff including front office, cleaners, and support personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and compliance with Ministry of Health regulations.
  • Manage hospital inventory, procurement, and vendor relations.
  • Handle facility scheduling, appointments, and general coordination of patient services.
  • Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive patient and staff information confidentially.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Health Systems Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field. (A Degree is an added advantage.)
  • At least 3 years' relevant experience in an administrative role within a healthcare facility.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and hospital management systems. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Ministry of Health regulations, licensing, and SHA processes
  • Medical or clinical background will have an added advantage.
