Key Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audits of front office operations and reconcile guest folios.
- Generate and distribute accurate financial reports, including occupancy, revenue, and audit summaries.
- Ensure all charges are correctly posted to guest accounts, including room rates, food & beverage, and other hotel services.
- Handle late-night check-ins and check-outs professionally and efficiently.
- Address and resolve guest queries or concerns during the night shift.
- Monitor and secure all cash handling and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Maintain proper records of all front office activities during the shift.
- Liaise with other departments (Housekeeping, Security, Maintenance) to ensure smooth hotel operations at night.
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, secure, and presentable.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a busy hotel environment.
- Strong working knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, IDS, or similar systems).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Must be flexible, reliable, and able to work on weekends and public holidays.
