Role Context

This role is for a Housekeeping Manager at an Ultra Luxury Beachfront Hotel in Mombasa. The manager will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
• Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to luxury standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Train and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities.
• Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
• Ability to train and manage staff effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
