Job Role Context

This role is for a Housekeeping Supervisor at an Ultra Luxury Beachfront Hotel in Mombasa. The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.

Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.

Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities.

Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Train and motivate housekeeping staff.

Handle guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping services.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in Hospitality Management is a plus.
