Job Summary
Rafiki wa Maendeleo Trust (RWMT) is seeking an experienced HR and Operations Coordinator to manage human resource functions and oversee day-to-day administrative and operational systems. The role ensures compliance with Kenyan labour laws, efficient operations, and strong people-management practices in support of RWMT’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, contracts, performance appraisals, and staff exits
- Manage staff records, payroll data, leave, and HR compliance
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and staff welfare
- Oversee office administration, facilities, fleet, security, and procurement processes
- Support ICT operations through designated staff or consultants
- Prepare and submit monthly HR and operations reports
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Administration, or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar HR/Operations role
- Registered member of a recognized professional body (current subscription)
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
- NGO experience is an added advantage
